Please Pray!

It's kind of discouraging when things don't go according to plan....Olivia and I had the whole idea for "Voices of the Innocent" perfectly planned, and quite honestly, we really weren't expecting any hurdles.

When we first came up with "Voices of the Innocent" we were really expecting a huge amount of interest. But, as many, we've had a bit of a rude awakening. We've had very few responses thus far...not anywhere near the 200 we were hoping for. Please understand that I'm not faulting anyone here or trying to throw a guilt trip out at people; I'm simply stating a fact. I'm thankful for the responses we have recieved, and I'm praying that God will lead others to help us.

But people usually don't just happen to come across your blog, so I'm trying to get the word out about our existance and our mission. So far, I've contacted The Rebelution-http://www.therebelution.com/ and Tenth Avenue North-
http:// www.tenthavenuenorth.com/ (farily new, but VERY good Christian band!)....if anyone has any suggestions of who else I should contact, please feel free to comment or email!

  1. Hi Emily

Good on you girls for taking initiative and doing something about abortion - it truly is a horrific practice. It makes me sick to think about.

I have a few ideas...First, are you girls members of the Rebelution forum? I saw your post in one of the blog threads, but probably there won't be a whole lot of people who look there, so it would get better viewing if it were inside the forum. Second, perhaps if you start following other blogs, especially pro life ones and commenting on them, more people will see this blog. Third, have you considered making a facebook page? That could be quite a good way to get publicity.

Have you checked out the website abort73.com? It has some fantastic information on it.

I hope this helps. May God bless you as you seek to serve him.

  2. Annie,
Thanks so much for the information! It was extremely helpful...this is really a different realm for Liv and me (neither one of us are really tech savvy teens =D), so any suggestions and tips are great! I will certainly look into all of this...
    Thanks for your support!

  3. Hi there! I found your blog in your comment on one of The Rebelution's blog posts and started reading your blog. I am home schooled as well. Thought that was cool. :) I think what you all are doing is great! I have a blog and will be happy to put your all's link on there. Keep up the good work and God bless!
